R-matrix Calculations for Proton Elastic Scattering on natMg in the Energy Range E = 2.45 - 4.25 MeV, Suitable for EBS

In the present work R-Matrix calculations regarding differential cross sections of natMg(p,p0)natMg elastic scattering for Ep,lab = 0.70 – 4.25 MeV were implemented using Azure2 code [1]. A coherent set sections, first to cover 2.45 energy range [2], measured at Tandem Accelerator laboratory NCSR “Demokritos” was used as a basis calculations. These results able accurately reproduce both experimental dataset well current evaluation [3] which covers 0.7 2.7 range.
